About me

I am a Ph.D. candidate in Computational Neuroscience under

the supervision of Prof. Maurizio De Pittà (Principal investigator, Neuron-Glial Interaction Lab, Krembil Institute) and
the co-supervision of Prof. Christophe Bernanrd (PhysioNet Team Leader at Institut de Neurosciences des Systèmes)

at the Basque Center for Applied Mathematics (BCAM) in Bilbao (Spain) and at the Krembil Research Institute in Toronto (Canada).

I am enrolled in the ASTROTECH Project ─ founded by the European Community’s Framework programme Horizon2020, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions ─ with the objective to develop a mathematical model of the Neuron-Glial-Vascular Unit (NGVU), based on biophysical principles of volume transmission in the brain parenchyma.
